Chicken through the season.

We usually start raising chickens in late May, with the first pickups about eight weeks later. For 2027, we expect pickups to begin in the second half of July. We’re planning weekly or monthly pickup arrangements—tell us which would suit your household. Dates and the final schedule will be confirmed before enrollment.

Different birds. A clear share.

Our past chicken CSAs were sold by weight. We pack processed whole chickens as close to 100 lbs as practical across your planned pickups.

Bird sizes naturally vary, so the final total may be a little above or below 100 lbs. The price stays at $900 for that normal whole-bird rounding, with no per-pound final adjustment. The number of chickens in a share varies too.

A share price for planning ahead.

The CSA price is $900, paid in full when you join, for 100 lbs of processed whole chickens. An enrolled share reserves your chicken under its published terms. We’ll confirm the pickup schedule and number of CSA shares before accepting payment.

Farm Table Credit is for eligible available cuts and farmstand purchases. The chicken CSA is purchased separately, with no additional farm-credit discount. Any extra whole birds offered later in the season would have their own price and availability.
